Sweet 16th Book haul!
Yesterday was my day! As usual my family and I went out to eat somewhere different than our house and this time we tried different things from BonChon. My Mom loved the crispy pork there when she tried it a few days back and she really wanted to taste all the food there.
After eating a lot, which I kinda regretted at the end, my Dad asked what I wanted for my birthday gift so I said that I want a book. At first I was looking for a stand-alone on the NBS shelves but I can’t pick something that would be worth it, because it was a rare moment that my Dad would buy me a book. I thought of getting Paper Towns, but I saw the ‘The Selection’ series at the bottom shelf. I instantly fell in-love with the covers that I picked it all up. I also wanted to read it ever since I saw it at goodreads, I waited for the last book to arrive but when it came out boom no money and I rarely leave my house. My Dad said I would only get 2 books max but I insisted and he said that I should pay for the other two, I accepted and I do not ever regret it!
Admired it on my shelf, smelled the pages, tried to read the book without folding the cover too much, and listening to the sound of papers turning, those are what I’ve done lately to the books.
Since I can’t take a decent picture of my books with my camera (IG picture is so LQ) I think that those edits up above will do. It’s so pretty! (the covers not my edit)
